Haven't seen it yet, but I really enjoyed the soundtrack. Very moody,
ominous all the way through and at certain points very unlike Air. I'm also
quite attracted to the story, a schoolhouse legend about 5 sisters who
commit suicide, like any unlikely - yet apparently true - story you might
have heard at that age. As soon as it hits town I'll be shure to see it.
As for this ongoing B&S discussion, I - once more - state that I totally
understand Andy's feelings, and, mind you, I'm a fan! One shouldn't take
criticism on his/her fave band personally to the degree of actually being
hurt by it. Just because someone says so - not about you, but about people
you happen to like but in the end not even know - doesn't make you "lame".
Bad choice of words, Andy! I like B&S regardless of what some folks will
say.
Hard lines are being drawn right now. It's getting nasty. I wonder how
"mummy"'s going to react to Andy's latest. I'm all for respecting his
opinion and leaving him be. This is what discussion is about, folks. We can
keep on patting eachother on the back for having the same "superior" taste,
or we can start acting like the outgoing adults that we are and face
eachother with dignity, respect and candor. The true fans out there should
stop being so defensive and start showing, through intelligent discourse,
that they're bigger than this.
