My experience in Linux is about 3 years old, and a big problem for me is
the language.
More or less, I speak and understand english without problem, but some
times, I dont understand well.
Anyway, Now I understand you clearly.
Next Monday, I will investigate why poppler is slow.

It seems you are not a developer otherwise you would probably understand the
sentence, basically i'm asking you to investigate why poppler is slow and
change the code to improve it and not be slow anymore.

I guess it is. You are rendering a complex pdf and it needs time to
render it, what makes you think this is not normal behaviour?
