How lame and annoying. I'm not eager to see gnome1 entirely dropped. There is a large amount of stuff still using gtk1, there is a large amount of stuff that still does not compile otherwise, and I'm not that certain gtk+2 is not bloated compared to that. I think these have to be kept alive for at least a few months yet...
