Probably that ship has already sailed, but I did ask the same thing on icb
as I was wondering the same :)

We already have at least devel/codex and misc/llama.cpp today

The ports I just submitted I think do belong in devel. They are squarely
tools for development. like a linter. I'd put a linter under devel/ too.

If people feel strongly about it swival could go under security/ as well.

Thinking about the other side of the LLM equation (i.e. model development
and training). I suspect OpenBSD would not be a good place to do this type
of work and so those type of things might never be ported over.

Other LLM stuff like RAG can maybe go under databases/ and some other
tools I decided to put under textproc/ and math/.

So I think the current categories are probably ok, but I'd also be ok if
there's a strong desire for a new category for LLM chatbots and the
growing ecosystem.
