Well, I've checked and it's been a surprise. Some files don't have licence at all, see this mail and follow-ups: http://svn.haxx.se/dev/archive-2008-12/0080.shtml Sadly, it looks like some files won't ever get a licence because the company owning the copyright was bought up, and the new company has been unresponsive to the author's requests. We're now contemplating removing these files from Subversion altogether. I will post another update soon, which will include only files from contrib/ with a licence. I'll also put all files from tools/ and contrib/ into the -main package. Stefan
