I don't think that's a bug. if you look in the preferences menu in the mplayer gui, SDL video output is not a option. otoh, `gmplayer -vo sdl file' does play the file, but the mplayer gui is blocked. iirc, sdl "steals" input (see the sdl-devel list archives for questions about multiple windows), so it's not even possible to "fix" this. looks like you'll have to use plain x11, unless gl works. this is most likely what sdl ends up using ... -- [email protected] SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
