Greetings: I've had some problems using Opera from the ports. Rebuilt my system from a snapshot at or around Oct 04 2009.
1) First problem - The Port seems to be built with European Language Settings only; and there are no Asian Language available for the User to "Choose and Add" to the Browser's language collection. 2) Flashplugin - when I tried to do the "make install" listed in the FAQ #13 Section, (http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq13.html#flashplugin) I ran into some package conflicts involving an rpm pkg (rpm vs rpm-cpio). The latter is required by gnome-session and fileroller (IIRC); but Flashplugin requires the former(via fedora-motif). Figure they're both rpm apps. Can we have someone take a look at this, please? My $0.02 - If the Browser can be rebuilt with all international fonts available, it'll be great. Also, is there any consistencycomflicts with the rpm manager used by GNOME, KDE, and other Window Managers? I've xfce (gtk-based) installed as well. Thanks. There was no file maintainer listed by name. # make show=MAINTAINER The OpenBSD ports mailing-list <[email protected]> # uname -a OpenBSD OverlordZero.overlordsolutions.com 4.6 GENERIC#0 i386
