plain 'aucat -l' ends up with too large of a block size, but
e.g. 'aucat -l -z 512' works like a charm.
and now with changes to make sure libsndio gets linked in. I was using
the sdl flavor. also just a touch of WANTLIB cleanup and unused

Hi,
for me it works but produces garbled sound regardless
of having "-z 512" or not.
what about without aucat at all?
Works.
and did you try with
'aucat -l -b 2048 -z 1024' (which is, imo, a very good configuration for
playing video games: small blocks, low latency)?
Garbled.
Shouldn't everything work out-of-the-box without tweaking?
Off topic: I would appreciate if someone could say how to get quake-gl
into fullscreen mode. So far all my attempts have failed.
