less important things to know:

+ ldapsearch(1) is more picky about the ``-H'' parameter:
my old alias of ldapsearch with ``-H ldapi:///var/run/ldapi''
does not work anymore (``DNS SRV: Could not turn DN="/var/run/ldapi"
  into a domain'').
  I have to use ``-H ldapi://%2fvar%2frun%2fldapi'' nowadays.
