That's how the postfix-users list works.
If you prefer a simple list manager, I can recommend mlmmj
(https://mlmmj.org). It is less flexible and powerful than Mailman3, but
works without any dependencies.
These days I use Sympa. It's perhaps a little more complex to set up
than mailman2, but has fewer moving parts than mailman3 and doesn't
break ARC/DKIM.
