As is to be excpected this mailing list has seen it's fair share of
problems related to operating systems, routers, firewall appliances
and the like. Aside from the things you mention above, DKIM signatures
being blocked by ASAs and a lot of PIX workarounds come to my mind.

Do people on this list feel that it might be a good idea to compile a
list of these common interoperability problems with their solutions
(workarounds) and make this document publicly available, perhaps
even within the official documentation?

I'd volunteer to draft such a document, but since neither my English
nor my knowledge about network devices and commercial content
filtering applications is sufficient for such a task, it could only be
a draft.
