Yes, this would make sense.
I'd volunteer to draft such a document, but since neither my English
nor my knowledge about network devices and commercial content
filtering applications is sufficient for such a task, it could only be
a draft.
Just start with the bits you know.
I'll volunteer for technical editing and layout into a consistent style
-- editing is something I have a lot of experience with. Too, I don't
have enough day-to-day industrial server experience to contribute much
content, but I will let the Stone Soup protocol take care of that, and I
could learn something in the process. Your English is already well above
the average Internet posting so I don't know if I'd even have much work
to do. :-)
I would define the Stone Soup protocol as: cc: my own address if you
think you're posting a solution to a sufficiently common
interoperability problem, so it will go to my Inbox as well.
