I don't have a killer application in mind. Generally, it's enough for me to think it's a Good Idea(tm) to have gone this far with it. In my sysadmin career it would have saved me a lot of work figuring out why something was delayed at one particular hop. Log analysis tools might also find it useful, but I haven't tried to sell them on the idea yet.
