Sorry for the confusion, perhaps I had better explain ! Yes, the original point of my question was that I wanted (and still want) a /dev/null address But, after your reply, another semi-related question came to mind. I have a few "old" email addresses, one of those emails has started receiving a lot of spam. I don't just want to /dev/null it, I don't want to send a bounce (because we know blind bounces are bad)... I want to send a 554 to the sending server to say "this email address has been disabled. If you really need to contact me ....." Hope that makes more sense !
