Of course, it is possible that smtp.xs4all.nl is sending out emails from a different IP address that it receives mail on, and that outgoing address has a "good" reverse DNS. If this is the case, the problem will be solved. But there is no way to know it until you try it and send a test email to somewhere (it's best to send to some different address cotrolled by you, so you can view the received message).
