This reproduces 100% with the Postfix smtp-source test program and
a test system with empty Postfix queue.
Sending a test message over SMTP with 5000 or more recipients will
trigger the problem. It should also reproduce with virtual_alias_maps
expansion and with alias_maps expansion, because they all result
in similar queue file contents.
I'm going back to $WORK now, and will do further experiments later.
