Hello Bryan, You should be able to control this by setting "Create Generic Geometry Columns" to "No" in the settings for your PostGIS writer: https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Desktop_Documentation/FME_ReadersWriters/postgis/PostGIS_writer.htm
