These are questions for Bruce. Anyways, back to my over-capable script, after a complete PC reboot it's back to normal now, that is events can't access a static map anymore. I still wonder what was going on, because I did restart _powerpro_ (not Windows) several times when I was investigating the case, and it didn't make a difference.
