I've found this to be a timing problem. If, as David suggested,
you include a wait - all works well.

One could create a custom snippets menu for use only with Myie2.
Bit of a hassle though - I haven't found a nice workaround for
this.

While writing this - it strikes me that one can use something
like:

     If active window is MyIE2
        Show menu with wait
     Else
        Show regular snippets menu.
     EndIf

As an example of how to customise your snippet's menu, try the
following and play around with the options:

Menu Folder &(PProFolder)Clip

Format Keywords: nosubdir nofolders mne noext embed center sorttime Maxtext 33  cmd 
"clip filepaste"
