Don't i wish it was. Synaptics seems to have touchpads that.. ya know... have useful functions. :) but, no, it's by 'alps electronics.' the company doesn't even have drivers available for end users, only for the companies that put the laptops together. god forbid they should cater to the end user. *sigh* stupid japanese company with absolutely no support and a limited at best amount of functionality and very little documentation... and stupid dell for using them. :) Thanks for the reply, though!
