Tne above code looks syntactically correct to me, unless you haven't
enabled standard configuration which means that the < could be
misinterpreted as a command separator.
Are you receiving any errors? If so, would you mind posting them?
You may wish to try enabling standard configuration and then try this
code, which should work for you:

; it's a good idea to declare your variables before using them
Local Counter
For(Counter = 1; Counter < 5; Counter = Counter + 1)
