Hi,
I set up my down arrow key to trigger the page down key. I wanted it
to only be active in one of my applications and I used the *xxx*
target window caption. It seems to work great in that it only works
in that application and not in windows explorer or any other apps.
Except that it seems to work in yet one other application that does
not share any of the text in the caption I specified. I can't figure
out why. I have tried almost everything. I tried using the ~
comment to exclude the application but it still want to remap the key.
I even tried to set up a *Exec Hotkeys reverse hotkey so that I could
disable the remapping anytime I was using the "problem" application
but it seems to ignore that as well.
By the way, I tried to exclude the appliaction by alternating between
caption name, window class, and even file name. Nothing worked.
The only thing I think I have not yet tried is writing a script that
checks what window is active. I am not sure how effective that would
be anyway. Besides, I just started using ppro and I'm not sure about
writing scripts anyway.
What am I doing wrong?
