I suspect it's more a problem of Windows, not PP, at least
directly. There are various reasons/settings for the slowdown
of the network browsing. You may google it. Meanwhile, the
following setting might be of help sometimes:
'Configure | Setup | Command Lists | All Menus |
Cache menu icons (gray for large icons)'
