I have been playing with the progressive macros and find it fast and
useful, however I have a problem.

My problem - I use the semi-colon key as my key macro activation key
but there are times when I want a semi-colon. Using the old macros
this was not a problem since ;; was not defined. With the new
progressive macros it "eats" any and all ; keys I press.

My problem seems to arise from the fact that after I press ; the first
time it paints the menu.

I added this code

startsubmenu ;
        exec hotkeys off
        ;=;
        exec hotkeys on
endsubmenu

but what I find is the menu for ; shows two items exec hotkeys off and
exec hotkeys on. Without the two exec lines the submenu shows ;.

What I want is that if I press ;; for the script to turn off hotkeys,
send a ; to my app then turn hotkeys back on. This was I can keep my
home row activation key and still be able to type a semi-colon into
text I am writing albeit by having to type two semicolons and enter.

But, I find my knowledge of pp scripting is not up to this task.
