If he suddenly decided that he doesn't like PPro, then he doesn't like it
(poor guy).  It would have been nicer, however, if he just left the group,
instead of shoving his opinion in front of us like that.  

For my part, I disagree with just about everything he wrote.  PPro doesn't
force you to use the scripting engine - I don't use very much of it, and I
find it an invaluable tool.  And any programming needs to account for
changes in the environment or versions, and the support in this newsgroup is
at par or better than anywhere else.
