> I'd love to hear of any other uses! A quick look at my hotkey listings (not all of them are as logical as the examples given so far). When a program is launched, it's usually tri-state -- show if running, hide if active and start otherwise:
- Email client, Create new message, Create message from selected recipient (menu) - Move window to other VDesk, Switch Vdesk, Vdesk menu - Move current window to other monitor, Enable second monitor, Disable second monitor (via ultramon) - Filemanager, Open new instance of file manager, Start secondary file manager - Start 3 common editors in order of usage (easy to remember). - Calendar Program, Exec Calendar, Exec CalcCalendar - Copy to File, Paste from File (a couple of these - basically multiple clipboards) - Configure Command Lists, Key/Mouse, Scheduler - Close current MDI window, Close entire window, Close all windows - PP Help File, Search PP Help, Select common help item (menu) - Hibernate, Suspend, Shutdown - Shutdown PP, Shutdown and restart PP (via batch file). - Look up selected word, Spell check selected text - Primary Browser, Secondary Browser - Menu RecentCommands, Recent opened files - Window specific menu, window independent menu - Hideshow windows, Close windows - New note, Open old note from menu - Process Explorer, Taskmgr.exe etc... I doubt that I'd ever use more than three "clicks". This script is very efficiently and neatly written - surprisingly simple considering it's flexibility. -- Ravi (http://shell-shocked.org) Attention: PowerPro's Web site has moved: http://www.ppro.org Yahoo!
