When I first tried to download it I was using Firefox and attempted to allow
it to do the verification that I had a valid windows license. That failed
but then I noticed that the radio buttons allowed you to bypass the
verification step. I wonder how long its going to stay optional though :-(

Was that your problem?

Yes that was my take too, but with the fairly frequent discussions about how
to enable/disable CapsLock, the following from its help caught my eye:

>>When To Use SGCaps
Some keyboards (such as those for Swiss German, Hebrew, and Swiss) do not
associate the CAPS LOCK and Shift keys together for all keystrokes; instead,
pressing the CAPS LOCK key defines an additional two shift states for
specific keys.

The "SG" in the name orginiates from the first keyboard layout to use the
functionality, the Swiss German keyboard layout.

You may use these additional shift states if you want to, but it will
increase the complexity of your keyboard and anyone who is not used to this
mechanism may find the keyboard confusing until they understand it.

If I'm reading this correctly it would be possible to take your current
keyboard layout (say) US-standard, and make the CapsLock key instead
function as an extra "control" key allowing the definition of special action
for Caps+A, Caps+B, ..., Caps+Z ... etc ... if desired.
