I am not sure if this will work reliably from a plugin since PowerPro
tends to try to restore the focus before executing commands (which
would call a plugin).

I am looking into changing PowerPro's core routine for returning the
focus to the window which had the focus before PowerPro. If the
change works, PowerPro will also remember the child window, and if
this child window is of Edit class, it will remember the text
selection state and the cursor position too.
