I thought this was a problem with cl.refresh, but I could not 
duplicate it.  I had two different bars being refreshed independently 
20 times a second and I continually pressed Apply on config dialog 
(which is essentially the same as ok).  But no crashes.

If you can isolate it further let me know.

Or you may want to back out of the changes relating to cl.refresh 
and/or use of hidden rather than closed bars.

Note that cl.refresh essentially does a bar close followed by a bar 
open.
