I just tested here: moved a window to -1000, tray minned it,
then restored it. It tray minned as usual then returned to
its -1000 position perfectly.

What is the "control window" bar you are referring to?
Is that a downloadable script from the Files section?
If so please can you specify its dl zip name.

I think it is probably not the Window Traymin command itself
(which works here for a window in the negative x zone)
but something else in the menu or script, as you say:
> ... including all the others on that menu ...

For example, if the menu or bar is appearing on the centre
monitor and the target window is on the left monitor
and the command is using "under" as the target captionlist
then of course all the commands will fail.
