But, yes, this is a problem for me too, always has been. Strangely (not so strangely?) I'm also on a laptop, don't have a desktop to do a comparison. Possibly a laptop-specific problem? I need to use 254. e.g. window.trans(-255, "HTML Help*PowerPro") doesn't do anything, while window.trans(-254, "HTML Help*PowerPro") does.
