Bit slow off the rank on this, recovering from New Year's'n'all!

But, yes, this is a problem for me too, always has been.

Strangely (not so strangely?) I'm also on a laptop, don't have a
desktop to do a comparison. Possibly a laptop-specific problem?

I'm running Win2000 with SP4. My PP config is getting fancier & fancier
all the time (man I love this program!) but even so there's nothing too
convoluted there. I am gradually moving most stuff to scripts.

It's not just bars that suffer from this problem for me. Anything I try
to set to transparency 255 doesn't work. I need to use 254.

e.g.
window.trans(-255, "HTML Help*PowerPro") doesn't do anything, while
window.trans(-254, "HTML Help*PowerPro") does.

Cheers
