I think he means small browser-based apps, e.g. a RSS-reader or maybe 
a analog clock scripted in JavaScript if you like, that constantly run 
inside a browser-window inside a PPro-bar.
PPro would have to provide a container for ActiveX-controls or at 
least the webbrowser control for this. No idea how difficult this is 
to program...
