Just tried this Sean, & it's excellent, thank you!

I am also getting 0-sized file for both GIF & TIF formats tho, and the 
JPG format does create ok but when I try & view it, IrfanView gives me 
an error: 
"Warning !  The file "C:\screen.jpg" is a PNG file incorrect extension!  
Rename?"

Any chance you could also do a screen shot for a portion of a screen, 
selectable by dragging a temp border out?  :)
