I'm pleased to say I've got things back to normal. :-) I moved PPro elsewhere and then installed a new copy. I was pleased to find that the very basic config file supplied with the installation pack worked as expected. As I still had access to PProConf with my old configuration, I was able to export all of my settings and then import them into the fresh installation. Using this mixture my bars came back!
