Unfortunately, the help calls the parameter for a lot of functions the "clindex". In fact, you can use an id whereever you can use an index. IThis is noted in one sentence in help). The whole point of ids is that you move items on bars or add new ones without worrying about the button number or having to change any script coding! So that is why there is no getindex.
