Personally I'm not convinced that the problem is with b. In my case I get exactly the same results as yours, and my *format context line is a mere =EXE. I'm more inclined to think that ppro is waiting for a 'new active window' event before closing the bar, but Windows doesn't set any active window when my EXE is minimized. I also noticed that this problem occurs more frequently when my EXE is minimized by clicking on the 'X' control, which is configured to mimimize to tray instead of closing EXE (this is done by EXE, not by ppro).
