I figured out how to apply it to all windows when they open, I even figured out how to exclude one thing by naming it like ~Shimmer, but I could not figure out how to make it skip several programs... What I'm trying to exclude is my music player, Xion, which has a cation of Shimmer, and the desktop itself. It seems odd to me, but when I set it up to apply any transparency on open my desktop gets a huge black rectangle down one side, and after changing vdesks it goes to solid black? This isn't real important to me, I only want to do it because when I first apply transparency with the scroll wheel script the window flickers, that brief flicker is not there if the window already contains transparency, kind of the opposite of still being clickable at trans 254, but not 255. Thanks again for all of the help/advice...
