Thanks Bruce, I tried it, very cool. Any idea why my mouse scroll wheel isn't scrolling the text in the control? Is there a list of messages for this control somewhere? Can I do things like enable and disable word wrapping? All I did to load the file was use win.settext(myedithandle, mysubj) Regards, Sheri
