Bruce, I forgot to add that volume controls do not work in Vista. Vista came with some new scheme for controlling the volume. Currently, I'm using Volumouse from Nirsoft. http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/volumouse.html
This isn't a problem and I'm not asking you to adjust. Just wanted you to know another limitation of Vista.
