Hi bruce, Grumpy, I had another go with the neighbor's Vista machine.
I've come to the conclusion that something is wrong with icon sushi. I extracted my icons (using icon sushi) and put them in a so-called Vista compatible icl (using icon sushi) and couldn't assign the icons to Windows shortcuts (Yes, Vista recognizes icls for shortcut icons). Then I used a trial version of Microangelo and the icons worked when assigned to Windows shortcuts as well as when assigned to PowerPro buttons and menus. In PowerPro I had to fully qualify icon path. I also tried assigning a png file to a button and it worked fine (did not fail). Not talking about Vista png icon (haven't tried those). Just a plain png file. Tried disabling aero; it did not improve the bump issue. Determined that bumping fails on all edges (not just top). I have a Context bar (which among other things should be putting "copy name to clipboard" on the explorer context menu. That is not working. Regards, Sheri
