Thanks SGP, that's great to hear. On the plus side, I'm getting the new Mac as a kind of trial, & if it doesn't work I'm allowed to get a Win & pawn the Mac off.
Must say it's a weird predicament to be in -- I am being made to feel kinda old & staid because I want to stick with Windows. But as I say to them, I don't want to stick with Windows, I want to stick with PowerPro! Keen to see how it goes, will report back once I'm set up.
