Quote from help file: Powerpro allows you to use jpeg files as well as bmp files as wallpaper. If you set a jpg file as the wallpaper, Powerpro will convert it to an 8 bit (256 color palette) .bmp for display. If you prefer to use a 24 bit (true color) image, convert the .jpg to .bmp using an image editor or image converter, then specify the .bmp file in the Media dialog. I also checked this manually, if I select the jpeg file in windows as desktop background, it renders in full color.
