I'm sorry I wasn't more precise.

After I downloaded the latest version of Power Pro, the menu bar 
(date, cmd, edit, menu) appeared at the lower left corner of the 
screen and there it stayed, unresponsive. I had no chance to choose 
a "floating" bar or anything else, as none of the buttons worked. Nor 
could I move it, with click/drag or with CTRL/click and drag.
