Except by using the MS AppLocale utility (which only works on XP and above, and didn't even exist before 2003) the user has to reboot to change code pages. So I think is safe to assume that you can check once (and document that if, for some reason, the user changes code pages for Powerpro with AppLocale, they should restart Powerpro. Regards, Sheri
