Good call. Yes, now it works, very nice. Interestingly the limit is 256, and since I often work with very long paths, 256 still cuts some of them off...so I cannot see the actual final folder that I'm looking for...but at least this now expands things out a bit so I can see most complete, even though some still get cut off. A balloon tip sort of thing would be nice but I cannot seem to find how to get a tooltip thing to come up over these explorer menus. That way I could hover the mouse for a moment to see the full paths when I need to. Also I'm wondering how to make open/save dialogs open always sorted by date...most recent on top...but I should ask that in another thread I guess. Tooltips come up hovering over the bar, but once I go up to the paths, no tooltips show up. I can't find a way to get toolips there. I ticked the checkbox to enable tooltips at Command List Properties> Bars and Menus, tooltips...and looked at tooltip setup there...oh well...not super important...I think perhaps that this may not be an option at this time.
