I know that theme, too big for my tastes :) I can't even imagine using windows w/o them. For some years, I used themes with eye-candy and in some sort appealing, then I started gradually liking minimal and opted for simple themes with just a bit of gradient and some minor visual tweaks. After that, I went almost exclusively to dark themes. Right now, I've settled for areao4-2 from heylove and it's the theme I've been using ever since, here's the link: http://heylove.deviantart.com/art/areao4-2-45532008 (I edited the theme to have it more dark) Sometimes, when I want more dark, I switch to 3DCC configs, which is very plain but using it, I can disable the themes service. Have I already said that I like minimum resources. :) Using themes, I can control some aspects of it but I'm not able to move, remove titlebars or add buttons to them or add shadows to windows w/o using third-party tools like yz'shadow, one of the best in my imho but defeating the purpose.
