In the last few months, I've been trying some shells to replace
explorer.

With some work, PP will do all that I want but I'm still not comfortable
enough to ditch explorer.
I still need to make context menus without explorer and there's
a thread around explaining how, just have to read it and follow
thoroughly the procedures.

My main question is, can PP manipulate window elements such
as borders, titlebars, shadows?
My guess is no, right? Not even with a plugin, correct?

I've read a thread where "Cüneyt" refers to fvwm under linux:
Counterparts of PowerPro under Linux and OS X

After reading about fvmw on the net and seeing what is capable of, I
searched for a similar alternative to use with windows and I don't see
one that can move titlebars to the edges.
Does anyone of the alternative shellers here know of a similar shell
that does that?
Does LiteStep have that option? AFAIK, LS is the most powerful and more
similar to fvwm right?

For an idea of what I'm talking about take a look here:

Also, I know that it's possible to run fvwm under windows, either
by installing Cygwin/X or using Xming.
However, that's just wrong.

Ideas, suggestions, personal opinions are all welcome.
