PowerPro does try to automatically close messages when it receives the standard Windows message saying that the system will be rebooted. Note that open messages with the recur setting " ring once then erase" will disappear, but others should be kept. This works in my tests. However, if your program forcefully terminates other programs without allowing them to save, then open messages will be lost. You could try using an ini file, imported at startup instead. That should not lose messages, but you will have to manually clean out expired messages periodically. This behaviour has not changed in at least a year, if ever, as far as I can rembmeber.
