I know on PowerPro uses {shift}{xxxx} is not reliable for many keys (and in 
fact you should be using {shift}xxx{shift} any way.

I don't remember what Stiletto has, but it it has something corresponding to 
PowerPro +{ed},. then try that.  

Also, I don't think it gave you the option of trying different approaches to 
sending keys ({slow}, {fast}, {sinp}, as well as a config option, but it if 
does, try playing with them).

Are you running win98?
