Hi Bruce - long time. I bet you still remember a lot more about your Stiletto
creation than I yet know after my uninterrupted 12 years usage!

I've tried various combinations, such as

*Keys {sh}{ed}
*Keys {sh}{ed}{sh}
*Keys +{ed}
all with or without double quotes, and also using '*Send Keys Exact' instead of
*Keys.

FWIW, this command is not 'stand-alone', but part of the first Stiletto script
I've tried for a few years. I'm revisiting the subject because I'm having
reliability problems with the latest version of the program I normally use for
writing relatively complex macros, Macro Express Pro. Later today I'll try it
with some simple single commands.

That's true. And I don't think there's an overall setting for speed of
keystroke entering. Command options are *Keys, *Send Keys, *Send Keys Exact.
Adding *wait 0, *wait 1, *wait ! didn't resolve it.

Slightly more up-to-date than that! XP Pro.

Best wishes,
